Welcome to LutzGen

When I started approaching retirement age, I decided it would be a good idea to try building an income stream that could supplement my 401k and social security and would be mobile so I could do it anywhere. I have always been interested in writing - over the years I have written travel articles and news columns for corporate newsletters, and have also been writing music for some years - so decided that writing would be a very enjoyable retirement job. I secured proofreading work and started writing a book. Soon it became time to pull all my efforts together in one place.

Have written content for Web sites specializing in a variety of interests, including spirituality, genealogy, history and classmates.

The work that is closest to my heart is The Cross Of Freedom site (CrossOfFreedom.com), which contains my writings on American history, our origins, Bible history and spirituality, all from a Christian perspective.

Book Writing

 Wrote and published a book which follows the immigration of three families from central Europe to the United States in the late 19th century.

Music Writing/Performing

 Have written a number of songs and am currently producing music tracks for them so they can be made available for distribution. I have also performed with several bands and do solo work as well.

Editing/Proofreading

 My specialty is cleaning up articles and documents written by writers whose first language is not English.
Photography Developed an interest in photography while I was in the Navy.  Now using a digital SLR to take it to another level.
