Some time ago at a family reunion one of my aunts was reading from documents and letters written by past generations of our family and suggested that someone should pull these together and write a book. The year my dad passed away I decided it was time for me to do this - the result was my first book.
The name of the book is 'A German-American Journey'. It starts in central Europe in the early 1800's, follows three family lines through immigration to the United States and the building of new lives in a new world, and weaves our family history into the events of Europe and the U.S. through the years chronicled.

I'd like to write another book, but haven't been able to set aside enough time to work on one. That's one of the reasons I would like to be able to retire from corporate life.
